My New Etsy Shop!
Hey fellow some what readers
Check out my new Etsy shop! Right now its headbands for different season and hair clips. I even do costume made headbands and clips too. I'm really excited to be making these and there is always a story too them, from how I burnt my self on the hot glue gun, to having my love take pictures of me in them for you guys to view. A lot of sweat and tears went in to some ( don't let that stop you from buying them please hah). Hope you enjoy.

Anthropologie Makeover, but I stay the same.
So this fall is my Anothropologie fall. I did not make over myself this way, sticking to plad shirts, hiking boots, zip up hoodies and leather jackets but lucky my models got to dress up in jackets, long sweaters and knee boots. Maybe next fall i will brave the style of my inspiration.
Zip up-Marshall's
Leather Jacket- Marshall's
Jeans- A&E
Shoes- Fashion Footwear
Not only is Anthropologie my style inspiration but my Photography inspiration as well.
Lucky i have my fall model sky(you all know of) to help me out on this one. I know how pricier Antho can be, but by being creative and taking your time, you can buy some special finds.
Boots-Old Navy
Jeans- Forever 21
Lace shirt-Marshall's
These pictures just take my breath away.
I'm sure it takes a lot of time to take these wonderful pictures.
I'm pretty sure I will take this one through the winter, spring and summer...oh hell I will be taking pictures like this till the end of time.
Oh....can't forget to ask you guys what your inspection styles are. I'd love to hear!

Carrot Hair
Skyler has been so generous enough to be my model for all the season. I take her to different/forbidden places just to get the shot. This photo was taken at a museum in CT that cost money, but i thought since it was a quite day, i would just sneak ourselves to some "do not enter" areas. From woods to cemetery, to warehouse to water, sky is willing to do whatever it takes to get a good pictures and risk it all. I learned a lot from my carrot haired friend!
I'd like to hear idea's for different places to take pictures. I'm up for all suggestions! I'd love to get more adventurous in my pictures.(These aren't even the adventurous ones i have hah)

For all the world to see
These are some of my most favorite memories and inspiring pictures i have taken though out my Photography years. “Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever... it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.” --Aaron Siskind
I find my self trying to be more creative...what do you all think? I'm open to Nice suggestions!

The Time of Season
So fall has began and i have been patiently waiting all year for this. I love thinking of all the fall boots, hats, sweater, dresses and jeans i have in my closet that has been collecting dust. My mom thought it would be a good time to take pictures to start off the fall year. We went to a tiny but big hearted town call Collinsville, where everyone knows everyone...even me! You know what i realized, i want to be one of those people who go into the same store/restaurant and get the same thing everyday. I loving knowing that your welcome everytime and everyone knows your name. "Hey lindsay! The usual?" hehe

Newborns and Clowns
Ok, so i can check this off my list of things i want to do before I'm old and can't move. I've gone to local craft fairs/festivals and i see every year new born baby chicks. This year I was so very lucky to hold them, along with 2 year old who thought they were food. It was the warmth of my hands that kept every chick I held, fall asleep. I kissed one, and I feel so much better now. I love everything about fairs, to the smell of 100 different food, the clowns you thought were scary and still are, to the rides that make you sick and the animals that you want to sweeze! Dear Fairs, Thank you.

Cherry Blossoms all year
Me, my mother and my grandmother are so much like that, when i look in the mirror i see my mothers eyes and lips and my grandmothers hair and face shape. Both their generations i do so very much admire. I know so much about myself from just looking at them and talking , most of all what i do in my spare time. I learned singing, playing music, and crafts from the very women who made me and I'm proud to be one of them. I devolved a true love for clothes and crafts from both of them and just this month i realized that my hands were made for something hah. I have had inspirations in a lot of Bloggers and im happy to share my crafts with you. Here's step by step process of Cherry Blossoms that you can have all year long and feel like you never rally missed spring.
Step One: Gather all materials.
You will need all these materials to help you out. Thick paper and since Cherry Blossoms are pink, I did two different pinks to
Complement each other. You will need
Brands Attaches parisiennes, Antique copper is a good choice. you will also need thick twigs, i picked light ones that had branches coming of the main branch that way it could look like trees. A Knife with a sharp point is needed. Get help if you need it. Last but not least, you will need a paper puncher. They come in all sizes but you can pick how big you want your flowers to be.Tip- Medium is just right. You can get most of these materials at a craft store, home and outside. Tip- don't spend more than 25$
Step Two: Punch
your flower cutter that you have picked, into the paper. Make sure you are not on the edge of the paper for it will cut half of your flower.
Step Three: Once you have your flowers, take your knife and poke a little slit in the middle of you flower. Tip- Have someone help you with the knife, can be tricky, but you'll get the hang out it. Tip- Make sure you have them right in the middle of your flower and don't squeeze the flower to hard.
Step Four: Put the Antique Pins in the slits that you have created with the knife and than in the back of your flower you want to spread the two flaps of the pin slightly apart.
Step Five: Take your branch and hold the flower gently but firm on to your branch and rap the two brass parts around you branches so it stays. Tip- Don't push to hard, depending of how thick your branch is, it could brake. If some are lose than that's OK. You will be putting them on display if you choose to.
Last step, Step Six: Gently bend the flower towards you, so it gets the 3D effect. Now your ready to display them how ever you like. Tip- I put them in a simple clear vase so you can see all the branches in the vase. Another thing you can do is put grass in the bottom of you vase, so it looks like its growing.
Well i hope this Do It Yourself Craft was a good way to bring out a little creativity in you and make you fall in love all over again with Spring. Any questions, don't you dare hesitate heh.
Tip- Don't be scared to put a little you into this craft.
See you next week for a new craft!!!
PS. Let me know if this works out for you all, and let me know if you need help!

So it was my very special day last Friday, I turned 70 in a 22 year old body... that's ok with me. My mother, every year calls me an old soul, and i think I'm ok with that too. I haven't got in gifts since wow...15 years old. Money is great from my family but i miss being surprised and this year, i was very surpised. My friends gave me a wounderfule party, filled with little and homemade gifts. I couln't of ask for better gifts and friends. My mother, for the second year thought it would be brillent to make me roam around the house finding fliers of my pictures of it. To my suripse , i missed on this year hah. Last but DEF not least, my other half mike gave me the best and most inprational gift of all. A Sewing machine, not any sewing machine but a 20035376638 Singer Inspiration, something like that hah. Of all the things i asked for he hit it right on the spot. Now he's going to ask me to make him a 1920's vest. I'm extatic to make my own clothes and now i have all the tool's in front of me! Thanks to all of my better halfs in my life! I will sew you all a pillow case heh.

BUG LIGHT
OK so, for the past three years i have been searching for my lighthouse. I searched the coast of CT, RI, Mass, NH and finally my home away from home, Maine. I have been on foot, boat and yes plane to find a lighthouse just my size( to somewhat rap my arms around it), text, color and the light it gives off. Lighthouses to me are what a new state and country are to others. I find them breathtaking, inspirational, peaceful and i find hope within them. Soon as i found more appreciation for these Big and Small lights of hope, my love came along and found passion in old but familiar structure as well. We explore New England just for these excitements. We wonder miles out sea and inland, just so we can admire these Structures. Every Light house has an amazing story from helping sailors home to haunted story of shipwrecks near by. I found my lighthouse, just off the of Portland Maine, called BUG LIGHT. See if it was just a little smaller and not so BIG, than i could hug it better. I think my Love agrees. heh

I'm Going to miss summer
Felt like it took me a life time to find this bath suit. I've looked in magazines, books, fancy shops, online, and friends and all above my price range. Did not know such fabric and design could be worth so much. I've learned to Vintage shop for my own sake. I traveled far away to find this one but well worth my time and gas. A little, yet Big hearted Vintage shop with in a old but classic building intrigued me. 40$ i spent on this beauty.

Bed Time Song
When I was just a little girl
I asked my mother, what will I be
Will I be pretty, will I be rich
Here's what she said to me.
Que Sera, Sera,
Whatever will be, will be
The future's not ours, to see
Que Sera, Sera
What will be, will be.
When I was young, I fell in love
I asked my sweetheart what lies ahead
Will we have rainbows, day after day
Here's what my sweetheart said.
Que Sera, Sera,
Whatever will be, will be
The future's not ours, to see
Que Sera, Sera
What will be, will be.
Now I have children of my own
They ask their mother, what will I be
Will I be handsome, will I be rich
I tell them tenderly.
Que Sera, Sera,
Whatever will be, will be
The future's not ours, to see
Que Sera, Sera
What will be, will be.
I asked my mother, what will I be
Will I be pretty, will I be rich
Here's what she said to me.
Que Sera, Sera,
Whatever will be, will be
The future's not ours, to see
Que Sera, Sera
What will be, will be.

What will be, will be.
